Jan. 5th, 2012 08:17 amWent to Bobbique for dinner with Brian and Marie last night. Mom was busy talking with someone for help fixing our scanner, and Dad just wasn't in the mood to eat out. Since my groupon was only good for $30, maybe that was for the better.
While we were waiting, Marie got a text from Mom saying that the scanner's finally working again.
Marie had some chili, I had an 8-oz burger, and I don't remember what Brian had. After the main course, we discussed whether or not to get dessert there, but decided not to. I showed the waitress my groupon after she gave us our check, and she said that I was supposed to show her that while ordering, but accepted it anyway.
We decided to go to Friendly's for dessert. Brian and Marie shared a clownhead, but I got a Forbidden Fudge Brownie sundae. Even though mine was twice as large and I was eating it alone, I managed to eat the whole thing faster than them, and Brian told me to take smaller bites in order to enjoy it longer. (He actually also told me to do that at Lucky's the other day, and Dad tells me every now and again to slow down while eating. Not gonna nibble on things, but maybe I should try eating just enough at a time so that everything I consume is on my tongue instead of filling up my mouth.)
