Last Tuesday was the only day this whole past week that I've actually managed to play Earthbound. Made my way up to Lilliput Steps, and then got distracted every day from there, so I've decided to call this playthrough off.
In the meantime, I've also been thinking of giving Earthbound Zero a second chance. Even though the gameplay kinda sucks in comparison, it still has that nostalgic feel to it that Earthbound has... even though I only first discovered it in 2001, after I started buying back issues of Nintendo Power on Ebay (although I had known that Earthbound was a sequel to something from earlier on).
(Man, this is exactly why I want to write the Lucky Star fic sometime. At some point, I think I'm gonna continue with the spritesheet, and then use that to garner interest on DeviantArt, in the hopes of having people contribute ideas for stuff like storylines and characters.)
Today, I intend to continue with Kanji in Context, while playing EB0 on the sidelines.
