Apr. 17th, 2012 07:28 amWent to the nursing home with Mom and Marie yesterday for an hour. We spent much of that time with Grandpa Bob under a gazebo in the courtyard.

Later on, since Mom had already gone to the gym in the morning, I went with just Dad. When we first got there, I asked the receptionist about any punching bag to train with, since the gym also advertises classes for stuff like boxing, basketball, yoga, etc. After she told me where it is, I went up to Dad to let him know where I'd be, but then he asked me what I was asking about, and told me that I'd need a pair of gloves to practice with, lets I break my fingers. He presumed that people would have to bring their own gloves, but it turns out they have pairs to lend out. Spent a few minutes punching and landing the occasional kick, but then someone came up to me and gave me some kind of business card for it. Gonna have to show that to the receptionist tomorrow.
