(no subject)
Jul. 20th, 2012 07:01 amCopied the passage from my second-to-previous post onto Word and refined some stuff here and there (including making Mondo and Rokuna act more in character and stand up for Anneth, instead of pushing her the rest of the way over the edge). However, following the last of the comments in the respective thread, Chelle sent me an email stating that she'd rather not talk about it or even the issue of male-bashing vs female-bashing in general ever again, or anything else for at least a couple of months. Not sure whether that extends to everything else we talk about, but she did send me several critiques that I had asked for prior, and then told me that I am still welcome to ask her for more of those after I apologized for having rekindled some of her past traumas involving bigotry, discrimination, and violence against her and her mother. (Jake, on the other hand, has expressed interest in the revision, if I recall correctly.)
Also told Jake during a convo that I no longer wish to continue with Jamie's RP in any form, reasoning that even though it was my idea in the first place, all three incarnations of the concept to date were a blatant form of male-bashing which would only get on my nerves if I had never specifically asked him for it.
In any case, hearing what Chelle's had to say in the aforementioned email has cued me to write everything that bothers me about the subject in a notebook where I write about other issues that bother me as well, which I used to show Dr. Perret, something which I had been meaning to do for days until then anyway. Mom still has yet to have a new psychologist appointed for me, and she even told me recently that it took her a year and a half since early in 10th grade before she was finally able to have him arranged for me, and it was most directly in response to something inappropriate I did that she started seeking someone in the first place.
