Aug. 2nd, 2012 07:00 amI beat Mega Man yesterday, with a high score of 1,206,500!
Also bought the Mega Man X Collection, along with X7 and X8, at GameStop yesterday after we drove to the gym. Given that it had already taken me five days to beat the first game in the original series, though, I think I'm gonna have a break from the games for now and continue with Kanji in Context.
Came back to the gym and managed to walk seven minutes on the treadmill while watching the news, before tiring out and going over to lift free weights. Came back as soon as Family Guy came on, since watching that show is the only thing that makes walking bearable, but I ended up not wanting to watch the episode in question partway through.
Haven't really been doing the machines in a while at this point, because I just want to keep things simple and stick with the treadmill. I even recently read an article that mentioned that stuff like sit-ups and ab crunches, while they do tone muscles, don't actually help you to lose weight.
Anyway, while this isn't the first time I've lifted free weights, Mom and Dad did tell me that they should probably show me through a video how to do it right, because even though it's not at all complicated, one could hurt himself by doing it wrong.
