Dec. 13th, 2012 06:14 amMy appointment was at 10 yesterday, and I was supposed to be picked up at 9:30. The bus came at 9:40, and took more than an hour to get there what with three other stops to make. By the time I got there, the return bus was already there, and Fay was speaking to its driver about the situation. (Good thing I brought volume 77 of Nintendo Power to read on the way there.)
We went inside, and Fay called the bus company to explain what was going on, and also gave me the phone to talk to them. The person on the other end agreed to send another bus over when I was ready, and gave me the number for the dispatchers. Fay then called Mom and told her that we had things under control, and that if push comes to shove, she would drive me home, but she didn't pick up at first. When she returned the call, she told Fay that she was already on the way, and insisted on coming here so that I wouldn't miss lunch.
Not a whole lot to mention about the appointment itself. Mom did call me when she made it to the parking lot, though, and I went out to bring her to the room to participate.
Mom and I went to McDonald's after the appointment was over, before going to the shop to feed the cats there. With those coupons we still have, I ordered two Spicy McChickens and a Holiday Mint McFlurry. Originally, I was gonna use a coupon to buy a Bacon, Cheddar, and Onion burger and get another one free, but was told that they don't have any more of those.
