Mom and Dad went to some hospital in New York City yesterday, regarding the operation Dad had last September.

Had an anxiety attack yesterday regarding the remaining three issues of Nintendo Power that I was awaiting. I still never received a tracking number for either order I placed, and when I called about November's issue, I was told that I failed to provide a full mailing address. The person on the other end agreed to refund me.

Was told the same thing when I called again, that time about October and December. I had failed to provide a full address, and they agreed to refund me, but they told me that they wouldn't be able to notify me; I'd just have to keep checking my bank account. At that point, I suspected a scam to be at work, and ranted to both Mom (through the phone) and Jake about the situation. I told Jake that I couldn't understand how Future US, a company that has owned a magazine series that the library had subscribed to until recently, could be so fraudulent with me.

Having checked my account on the Future US website and the order placed for November's issue, it turns out I really did fail to provide a street and number. So, at least they're probably reputable after all. The real question is, even given how chronically reckless I can be sometimes, how could I have screwed up something so simple as my own home address?

It also turns out that their store is in a lot more order when I access it through Nintendo's official website than directly through Google and use the site's search bar.

Showed Mom last night the three issues that I intended to order. She offered to order them for me this time, in exchange for cleaning up the porch for Brian to sleep in when he and Marie come home for the holidays.

In any case, I'm already rational again. I was only selling my Nintendo Power magazines (barring the 1995 issues) because this is a time when they'll be more profitable than any time later, and with the last three issues, I just want to read them in order to see the end of the series through. I only thought of including them with the issues I received from the library because I assumed I would have received them already by this point. Good, though, that at least there's still time to receive them before Christmas, and I'm also glad that I at least received September's issue last Monday, and that it only costed $5 more on Ebay than it's priced for on the Future US site.

Anyway, I've put all eight 2012 issues that I currently have on Ebay this morning, to end next Wednesday morning. Starting price is $10.95, to represent the month and year that I first discovered the series, and the Buy It Now price is $75.72, to represent the two issues that I found on that day. If I receive the remaining three issues by the time the auction ends, I'll be sure to include those as well; if not, it's not the end of the world.
