Apr. 15th, 2013 07:16 amCame with my parents to Uncle Robby's house in New Jersey, to celebrate Grandpa Bob's birthday together with them, Aunt Allison, Uncle Blas, and Cousin Adam. Stopped at Brian's apartment to pick him and Janine up. (Dad wants his birthday celebrated separately.)
Not a whole lot happened before or during dinner, but for dessert, Mom had made three cakes: one mint-chocolate cake, one cream pie with strawberries on top of the center, and a lemon pound cake with coconut all over it.
Mom and I agreed that I should spend the week here to keep Grandpa company. Would also benefit me, because now I'm more free to write stuff without having to do stuff for Mom and Dad or having to let Dad on our home computer.
-----
Went with Uncle Robby after everyone left, to fetch some firewood that certain people had left on the side of the road. Also went with him and Adam to Aunt Dawn's house, but he only had to go retrieve his stuff for school, so me and Robby stayed in the car. While we were waiting, some friend of his walked up to him and chatted with him for a short while.
On the way back to the house, Adam asked Robby if we could stop at Carvel. At first, Robby said no, but then he decided he was in the mood for some himself. I declined, though, because I already had cake and don't need to pack on even more calories than that. (Maybe another day.)
