Went with Uncle Robby to his friend Andy's house to see this black pig he was taking care of, named Piglet. We put her inside this portable pen and fed it various things, and also got to see some of his other pets, including his dogs Gator, Sushi, and Buddy, and one of his cats Hillary. Said cat's tail is half the length as it should be, and he also told me that she can be a bitch. I told him about our own cat Mabel, and how she bites and hisses at strangers or whenever she's picked up.

We also got to meet his wife Laura and their daughter Isabelle.

After feeding Piglet some beef jerky that Andy gave me, I asked him if he knew that pigs like eggs. He asked me how I knew, and I should have answered that I knew from this game where they steal yet-to-hatch eggs from birds, who then have to break into each of their fortresses and beat up every last one of them. (I actually spelt it right out, but it should be obvious enough what I'm talking about right now.)

Robby then asked me to tell him about this game I'm making, but that took a bit of clearing up. Right now, I'm not actually making any game. Rather, I'm writing this fanfic called Starbound, which is a fic of this anime called Lucky Star. Both the fic and the anime itself took some time to explain, and I told Robby I'd show him everything relevant when we were home (especially since he did ask me two nights ago what my favorite show is, to which I answered Lucky Star), and then he can share whatever he sees fit with Andy so that he knows what I'm talking about.

Anyway, we went inside his house, and also got to see the backyard, which had a deck and two long docks stretching into the bay. Soon, the three of us went to a nearby boatyard and checked out what was presumably Andy's boat, before going out to dinner at this Italian restaurant called Spino's.

While we were there, Robby asked about some brief interest I had in different languages when I was a kid, long before I became actively interested in Japanese in particular, and several years before I even had to take Spanish in school. Yeah, that was during the summer between 5th and 6th grades and a short way into 6th. At that time, my library had some books in this series called The First 1000 Words In..., for which there were French, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Hebrew, and possibly something else. At the time, I wasn't actively interested in actually learning them, assumed the syntax would be the same in all languages as it is in English, and can't even remember what I was using them for at this point (ditto with dictionaries for an even larger variety of languages).

In any case, that was brought up by the fact that, up to a year ago (can't remember actually when), Grandpa Bob was making "Do not touch" signs in some different languages, and I wrote it in Japanese ("Sesshoku shinai!", also in kanji).

For food, I ordered some ravioli, a pair of homemade meatballs, and some garlic bread, but wasn't able to eat all my ravioli or any of the bread. Robby and Andy had some of the bread, and we took home everything still leftover for me to have for lunch today.

On the way home, it was already dark, and Robby stopped at the top of some hill, where he and I got a good view of Manhattan all the way across the water. We also listened to someone's point of view on the radio, about how religion should be taught in schools for the sake of understanding, which ended right when we got back to the house. That was it for the night.
