Really, I didn't just make that money just to give to the poor. If it was five dollars that I had left over after spending quite a bit, or if it was less than one to begin with, I might have been a little more generous, but I didn't feel like picking some arbitrary amount to part with. That's just not how I roll.

The person who bought my Game Boy Color complained that Pokemon Red and Silver don't work anymore. Great. This is exactly what I feared would happen a second time with Sapphire (technically, the first time with my second, legitimate copy that tech support replaced a bootleg copy with) back in '07, which, ironically, is how the series itself became so special in the first place. Now I'm short a bit of cash, he wants a refund, and the only way to keep them in circulation is to replace the batteries, which will cost even more money. Makes me glad I didn't donate my recycling profit from last night, that I still have cash in my wallet, which is generally less valuable than Paypal money, and that I never bothered to obtain the original Mew when it was being distributed.
