dmxratedMom hadn't been home yesterday until 1:00 this morning. From what she told me, Marie had a kidney infection while at Scott's house, and Mom had to drive her to the hospital.
In the meantime, I wrote two thank-you letters yesterday morning, and waited to show them to Mom before writing more. For most of the day, I alternated between playing Pokemon Ruby and reading volume 1 of Japanese in Mangaland. With the former, I hatched a Marill while crossing the Cycling Road, and it leveled up quite a number of times. In fact, when I fought Gabby & Ty on Route 118, said Marill fought alongside with the Azumarill that gave birth to him, and the two of them knocked out their Magnemite and Loudred. (Like mother, like son.)
This morning, I continued playing Pokemon Ruby, and while I was checking my Pokemon's data, I noticed that the aforementioned Azumarill had collected exactly 39,000 experience points. I called Brian over to show it to him, and he was slightly impressed.
