Jan. 4th, 2015 05:09 amWent with Brian and Colleen yesterday to Whole Foods where they got breakfast. Marie called us while we were there, and agreed to meet up with us, before we did some shopping at various stores.
Said shopping included at a comic book store which, unfortunately, didn't carry any manga. I'm usually not interested in western comics, but I did notice these containers of differently-shaped dice. Decided to buy a tube of seven, and decision-making should be a lot more efficient from there whenever I play something (especially if I decide to come back to Pokemon after all).
Went with Brian to his office again later, and managed to voice my recordings with his laptop and iPhone, before emailing both of them to Trina Deuhart. Decided afterward to play Candy Crush on the laptop once and for all, for the first time in a week. Has the same problems as on my own laptop, but I decided to bear with it this time, since Mom then suggested that I stay longer until his upcoming birthday. (She changed her mind again later and suggested I come home today, and really, that seems like the more practical thing to do from almost every angle. Some snow we got last night will not help my mobility here.)
Some time after we got home, Colleen came over to make us some spaghetti and garlic bread, and I helped her out. Brian, meanwhile, got a styrofoam box of chicken to serve as well.
After we ate, the two of them watched some stuff on Brian's laptop, and then we went over to Marie's. I picked up some Cherry Garcia ice cream along the way there, needing to cool my mouth down after such a garlicky dinner as we had, and had some of it when we reached the place. Marie was in the living room with some other people, and they had several boxes of this game series called Catan. She suggested that I try out the basic game, rather than with any of the expansions, but given how long it would take and how late it was at that point (9:50 PM), I decided just to relax on the couch for a bit before going back to Brian's to sleep. She promised to bring the game with her next time she comes to visit us, so that I can learn how it's played.

Along the way to his office two nights ago, Brian gave me his debit card to withdraw $200 from a bank we were passing, so that I could practice tipping while spending on him and myself. Spent the following so far:
Two School Pride donuts and two Strawberry Coolatas: $11.30
Dinner that night: $68.60 (roughly)
My breakfast yesterday morning, at Robinwood: $12.38 (roughly)
His and Colleen's breakfast, at Whole Foods: $17.79
That tube of dice: $3.99 (can't remember the tax; didn't get the receipt)
Tube of hand lotion (which I'm leaving w/ Brian): $2.10
That tub of ice cream (which I left with Marie): $5.38
Repaying Marie for my train ticket: $60
Total amount spent: $181.54
Currently owe him: $18.46
Currenty have only a twenty and some change, plus that hundred which I've kept in my backpack. Should be able to break the hundred and spend some change on lunch and my ferry ticket coming home today, but I should be able to leave the twenty with him when he wakes up later this morning and call it paid. I'll show him this entry and see what he thinks I should do.
