A week ago, the day we went to New Jersey, I managed to complete Candy Crush episode Chewy Citadel just before we left, giving the Tooth Fairy time while I was down there with my folks and over this past week while I was in Boston. My finishing move for its last level was to combine two Color Bombs (sprinkled chocolate donut balls) to clear a jelly that can't be reached normally. That's a coincidence, because the ending cutscene in that episode also involves a Color Bomb.
It was only two days ago that I continued playing the game, at which point I indeed did get the boost. I only played sparingly, though, due to issues with playing the game on either Brian's laptop or my own, but I managed to complete the following episode, Eggnog Emporium, from there to just last night.
And now, there's currently only one normal episode left in that game. (Still five in the Dreamworld, and I'm still only about halfway through with Soda.)
