Sep. 17th, 2015 07:14 amI already pretty much concluded a year ago, that I am barely cut out for story creation.
So far, it's been a whole year since I last updated Starbound, and all I wrote since then was the second chapter of Ryouou All-Girls' Sumo Tournament and a (brief) continuation of Unlucky Black Holes.
Regarding any possible spinoffs from Cibus Esculentus Madoka Magica, I thought I would be able to get people like Qin and Chelle to feed me some ideas to work with. However, Chelle has explained (not for the first time) that she has nothing to base an outline on if I don't have any actual end to work towards.
From here, all I have left that isn't Lucky Star is Parasitic Trio, but there are some issues about that (also covering video games in general) that I've brought up with both Jake and Brian, because whatever I really seek by writing PT might not have been in that direction in the first place. So far, Jake was barely able to make anything out of what I told him, and I'm still waiting to hear back from Brian.
Commissioning is still on the table, but the very premise of the Cibusverse itself is not one most people want anything to do with. The person who wrote that fic is one of a dozen I had PM'ed, and even those else who were willing to do it had to bail out for one reason or another.
Like, this isn't even about expanding the Cibusverse in particular. It's that, I like to spend time with fictional characters, but now that I'm taking a break from Lucky Star, what exactly should I do instead of aiming to write something I have no actual ideas for?
