Too low on black ink to print anything right now. Managed to print Birthday of Destiny and chapters 4 and 5 of Starbound's main story. Proceeded to set the outline up to print before having myself an orange, came back into my room before cutting it up to set whatever was already printed aside to make room for more pages (the whole thing to date is 43 pages long), and noticed that some lines were barely visible.

Good thing I need to show Brian the remaining chapters of Starbound to date first. Mom and I will need to go to Staples today for a new cartridge, along with a few other things.

Deposited some recycling at Stop & Shop yesterday for a total of $4.70. Noticed a loaf of garlic bread in a silver bag (that kind's always the best, with the garlic and butter already in it) on the customer service desk, without anyone even near it. Whose-ever it was originally had obviously abandoned it, so I decided to buy it for myself instead.

The item was priced for $1.79. Was hoping to let the cashier take just a single and the 70 cents I got in dimes, but he said that I'd still be nine cents left in debt, so I ended up giving him two singles instead. (Even though that did work several times before, this thing didn't include a tax, so I would've only come short of the base price.)

Put it in the car before meeting Mom in Savers. I asked her if she was planning to make anything in particular for dinner, she asked me if I had anything in mind after suggesting some Buffalo chicken on salad, and I told her about my purchase. She ended up heating up some leftover spaghetti to complement half the loaf with when we were back home, mentioning that Dad also wanted some when I suggested we save it for something fresh on a later night.

Dad sorta talked me out last night of spending some time at Brian's next week. Mom had already told me that Marie will be in Texas the whole week, and Dad explained that I might rather spend so much money to stay there when Marie's back at her place, in order to get more out of my stay there.

Thought it might be efficient to go with Brian both to and from Boston as long as he's already planning on two upcoming trips, but I can see exactly where Dad's coming from. Two months ago, I was hoping to bring everything I had up with him during just the weekend that we originally planned to stay over, but he himself let me stay over after learning that Mom and Dad had to cut their visit short. That, in turn, was only going to be for the few days that Marie would still be around (during which I even did get everything pre-planned out of the way, with only a few secondary things left), but then he told me about his friend Simon's plans to meet me for the first time, and that's why I ended up staying until Friday morning that week. (Good, though, that at least we figured out a better way for him to get around to reading stuff, and also got to meet someone else who would become interested in the Starbound project.)

In any case, this wouldn't be such a big deal if Brian was more on the ball with anything I email him, although I can understand how demanding his job tends to be and how many emails in general he probably gets. Personal visits are the best opportunities to discuss anything with him, at least whenever he isn't already tucked into his work, and by printing stuff up to show him, his trips out to breakfast might become even better times than any to get him to read anything.
