Jul. 15th, 2016 06:50 amForgot to mention, but the other day while I was on Masem Court, I noticed one of several stray cats that live there hop into the back of someone's minivan who has just moved in. I managed to get a hold of it, but it hissed and swiped towards my face and I had to let it go after only a few seconds.
Evidently, domestic cats are easier to get a hold of and press against my cheek because they tend to trust people more easily.

Brian had brought my laptop home with him, and Mom looked into charging it up. Tried twice yesterday to power it back on to see if it was actually broken, the first time after charging up in the porch, second when it charged up in the dining room until after Mom and I came home from the gym. It booted right up the second time, and that saves us a trip to the mall.
Was also planning to see if volume 3 of Puella Magi Tart Magica might come in slightly early at Barnes & Noble, but someone told me over the phone that that's not even due there until the 26th. Would've hoped to bring that to read when Brian and I bring Grandpa to New Jersey tomorrow, but I still have the rest of that player's guide for Pokemon Black and White to read. Originally, Mom planned on bringing him to Aunt Allison's in Pennsylvania, from which I would have stayed home, and if I had known about this change in plans (if they were even made well enough in advance), I would've already ordered a new copy of that for X/Y. Still got the rest of that book and some new Otaku USA magazines to read, though, so I guess I'll save those for in the car if I find enough else to do today.
