Sep. 1st, 2016 04:50 amBeat Link's Awakening last night. Stayed up until 9:15 just to do so; longer than that, and I might just be able to sign up for one of those classes if they're still available.
The credits did glitch up, but no big deal. I wonder, though, if that had anything to do with what was going on at the moment in the background I had chosen upon turning the system on.
What I mean by that, is that each time I did so, I would roll dice to select a color scheme and background, accessible on the Super Game Boy by pressing L and R simultaneously. For this final time, I chose the pencil icon, which displays a wooden chessboard pattern around the game window, and when the credits rolled, all these tiny men came out from under a square in the top-left corner and opened up another part of the "board" to reveal and take out a couple of pencils.
(I wonder if Brian and his past friend Craig knew about that feature back when they played certain games on his.)

This month's hot sauce: Santa Fe Sizzling sweet chipotle.
