Feb. 15th, 2018 06:29 amSomeone finally came and inspected our stove yesterday, after these past few months.
Finished watching Little Busters! Refrain. (I already let Mom take back Akame ga Kill!, along with that Tokyo book, after ditching that during episode 2.)
With one more week remaining before my subscription expires, I have requested and received Minori's work to date once and for all, in order to make use of my remaining time between reviews. She has stated that she'll have the weekend free to actually finish up.
Along with the cancellation of my Japan trip, Mom and Dad are going out somewhere for up to a week, and will likely have Brian come here to accompany me in case anything happens like with the oil burner just the other day. With that, I think I might postpone my Mother 2 recording for now, and come back to 1 instead in order to finish that walkthrough from before. For the sake of Starbound, this would also be one of the best opportunities to watch Popotan in one visit, and I would also like him to play that game not long afterwards to get an idea of what its version of Magicant is like.
Not sure if I will still make a point of playing 2 afterwards. To begin with, I was sorta hoping to randomize my purchases for each part of the game, in light of the launch of Game Gourmet, but as a general rule, I do make a point of not playing the same game too often, unless I have a specific reason to. I can remember too well, having played Earthbound the whole way through for the two weeks surrounding Halloween of 2003, and how multiple aborted playthroughs throughout the rest of 12th grade due to various management errors along the way only watered down how special it felt the first time that year. (And yes, I've also learned since not to sweat all the minor things like that.)
