Apr. 21st, 2019 07:39 pmAsked Brian, while wishing both him and Marie a happy Easter, if I could come to stay at his place for a bit at some point. He explained to me what's actually going on to make that inconducive for another few months, but also finally gave me some ideas to work with. Should be able to continue tomorrow morning.
Also found out that the character sprites in Disgaea were originally different (Skulls w/ their faces covered, Thieves were male, etc.) before being replaced with those obviously from Disgaea 5 Complete. Funny, how this comes right after I aborted my current playthrough of that game. Not a big deal, though, but if I had any way to anticipate that, the PC version is what I would have added to my recent Steam purchases instead of Trails in the Sky SC, for the sake of a slightly more authentic experience, and I would have written off the Switch version I have instead for my birthday. (Will make sure to check for changes if game 2 gets a Complete version, including actual footage, since no one mentioned this change anywhere.)
