Jan. 6th, 2020 06:56 amGrandma Barbara may very well be dying at this point. Mom drove back home alone yesterday, so that Dad could be there with her after she first recognized him only after having been taken off of some medication. She told me that she has since been discharged from the hospital in order to set up hospice in her home.
From what she also told me, Brian has decided last night to fly down to see her. Marie, however, won't be coming over, after having already seen her at Aunt Tracy's place for Thanksgiving.
With that, I have decided not to go back with Mom, so that Marie doesn't feel bad about being the only one of us kids not to see her for one last time.
Mom also told me this morning that we're gonna have to go back down again in the spring. (If that happens to be early in April, then that would be an even better basis for a break than to play another mobile game, after my Wanikani subscription ends.)
