Aug. 1st, 2020 05:34 amStarted over with Angry Birds yesterday morning, now on my secondary phone, after failing to reset all my scores and finding the original game only on APKpure instead of still for sale on either on Rovio.com, Steam, or even the Google Play Store.
What led me back to that was having found myself trying to flesh out each part of THIS IS IT! that Brian pointed out needs such with minimal effort, just to get that whole thing done and put the story behind me once and for all. I thought this would be the last stretch, and did manage to write more than just one line for Konata's phone call to the police, but there are still seven more things to take care of out of the original fourteen.
And of course, with all the different RPG playthroughs that I've aborted for almost a year now, I don't have the spoons left to cycle through the ones currently viable or even to buy a new game or player's guide. No spoons either for Getter Love!! or Earthbound, which I'm more familiar with, after already playing those a million times to date. At that point, I actually considered returning to Food Fantasy, so that I could default back to that just briefly next time I need a break from TII while saving my other games to pertain to Starbound, but of course, once I'm done with the former, that game will cease to serve any purpose at all. (If I ever do come back to that, it would be years from now, when I complete my current gaming agenda, by which point I hope that either it's out of service or a similar game with just as many or even more different recipes (implemented in such a way as I'd want, unlike in the other three already there) makes its way to Game Gourmet to take its place.)
With this, I gotta say, I've really made the right choice, with something that I can easily play piecemeal and do not actually plan to commit myself to this time. Once I finish TII, I will probably take another break to watch the rest of Nakaimo and then Magia Record, and also to compile some pics of Kuki for Mr. Pedal after he and I have a short break from business, before recharging my muse for food icons with another go at The 7th Stand User.
(I do wish I had a better experience with Angry Birds as a whole, back when it was relevant. It was the whole reason I wanted a new desktop computer, with Windows specifically instead of Macintosh like on my laptops, but then I eventually got the one I have now, only for Candy Crush Saga to take over once Mom introduced me to that. Not sure why I didn't play on either of my laptops from back then, although that did turn out for the better when they both broke down at different points, which would have cost me all my scores then.)

Heard back this morning from bloodscorpion4ever for the first time in four years. Given what he actually had to say, I will not bother to alert him to TII once that's up, but I will let him know when I reach the point in The Loss of Innocence where The Diary takes place, in case he would like to re-write that.
