Jan. 6th, 2023 05:40 amWe had a brief blackout yesterday morning shortly after I updated this blog. It was still dark, so I decided to go back to bed for another hour.
Came down to the house, and it turned out no one was awake, but Dad was sleeping in my room due to his condition.
The weather wasn't ideal for cleaning up branches, so I was finally able to look over some new maps Rohan had sent me once the power returned.

Watched a total of three episodes of Kanon with Aunt Marie throughout the day, but had to stop just short of the third one ending when Dad called for help getting up to watch TV.
He went on to put on this movie called Paper Moon, and Marie commented not having seen it ever since it came out in 1973. This is also my first time watching more than a few minutes thereof, though still not much longer than 20 minutes before I heated something up for dinner.
