(no subject)

Mom had some errands to run in Riverhead yesterday afternoon.

First, to a library we had never been to before. I took then to look at some DVDs, and picked out a whole cache to show Mom over these next few months once we arrive home.

Then to the outlets, where we sought me some new sneakers and a zip-up sweater. We successfully found the former, but couldn't find a fleece-lined sweater the right size for me after checking two different clothing stores.

Having had a filling breakfast in the morning, I was able to eat lunch late at the food court afterwards. Got a pork chicharon on some rice to start with, but it was kinda hard to cut with a plastic fork and knife. Would like to have some of that again, but bringing a fork and steakknife from home might make things awkward, when I'd end up having to carry those around everywhere by hand.

Mom was all done shopping around in J. Crew after I finished that, and I had to hurry to order a coffee chip milkshake from Haagen-Daaz, to have in the car.

Suffice to say, I didn't bother having dinner after we got home.
