May. 10th, 2023 06:13 amBrian and Emily have come to stay for the next week or two, and brought baby Maris with them. I took the time before they arrived home to bring all my stuff down into my bedroom, and will be staying there for until they leave.
Just shortly after they arrived, since they now have a baby, I showed them one scene from Kanon, in which Yuichi and Mai decide to play shiritori. Yuichi's first word of choice (at least in English) is "diaper" (to which Mai beats him with "perambulation"), and I made a joke about how he would probably want to see her change one. (In Japanese, his word of choice is "ringo" (apple), with her following up with "gorilla-san" ("-san" being an honorific suffix).)
