Jan. 5th, 2024 05:51 amProbably gonna hook up my previous computer to play Earthbound on whenever I get around to that. Just got around to testing how far my SNES controller would reach from my new PC, and I had to move both that and the couch considerably closer to the monitor, just to barely avoid stretching the cord out while trying to sit comfortably.
With that, having originally used the same Lucky Star pic as on that one, I have replaced my new computer's wallpaper with this screenshot from Magical Girl Raising Project, the show that directly replaced Puella Magi Madoka Magica as my other favorite anime.
(On the topic of wallpapers, I would really like to use this pic from Kanpani Girls (a defunct gachapon game) somewhere. Not on a PC, because I would prefer each of those have something longways to take up more of the screen; couldn't think of what ringtone could go with it on my phone; and although outdated, those two pics of Mami from before do make for a nice effect when unlocking my iPad, especially for whenever I showcase that at the beginning of a YouTube playthrough. Maybe on a new device to test Disgaea 1 Complete on if I ever get someone new to hack that game's iOS or Android version.)

Brian didn't like the group name Tsukikage, and renamed that group Uguu Blue: Lemonade Crew, with "Blue" rhyming with "Crew" and referring to my favorite drink at Texas Roadhouse. I suggested someone change the icon now that that was mismatched with the name, and deleted "Uguu". Marie changed it to the TR sign, but eventually, someone added the word back in and changed the pic to Ayu drinking something that was changed to blue lemonade.

With Brian no longer around to give dibs to, Mom and I managed to tuck into what turned out to be a film adaptation of the first eight episodes of Made In Abyss. Turns out that there were actually four films in total, and like with Madoka, the first two cover all the same events as the original show's first season.
Should be nice for Mom to have her memory refreshed of the first episode's events, since she didn't come up to see that episode itself when I showed Marie and Drew.
Having cancelled my subscription to Hidive, we have until the 25th to watch at least the third film, Dawn of the Deep Soul.
