(no subject)

Mom told me in advance how cold it was gonna be for yesterday's shift, so I made sure to include my parka and a scarf I mistook for one of Grandma Ella's presents to me. (Also brought a hoodie upstairs whose zipper tab I forgot was missing for a while now.)

Tried tucking my nose under the scarf, so as to protect my sinuses. While I did sniffle somewhat less, my glasses kept getting fogged up, and I decided just to keep it around my neck after heading inside several times to wipe them off.

Mom asked me upon arriving to pick me up, what made me decide to put on what was actually her scarf, and we agreed to look through several other scarves we have in the house.
