Called Guru again yesterday morning. The person who answered could see that my verification codes were being sent out, and emailed them to me as proof, but even that didn't work, so he advised me simply to download Google Authenticator, the default app where they go. (Easy to wonder why I didn't do that in the first place, but given how SMS did work a couple of times Friday morning, it's not like I had any reason to assume that afternoon that that would've made any difference.)

Finally able to log in, though still having yet to verify my ID, I deduced everyone except the two people I had already initiated communication with unqualified. So far, one of those two from before offered to work on the Android version of Adventure Bar Story, and I actually hired him.

Mom and I eventually looked into providing that fourth item I was asked for, and I managed to submit something. My stuff is now under review.
