Aug. 22nd, 2024 06:23 amAsked Renee before yesterday's shift if I could try my hand at online order fulfillment like at BJ's one of these days, especially next week when I have five days off in a row.
As it turns out, I had won an aluminum beer cooler from that raffle a while back. Dunno why I was never alerted, having had to leave my name and contact info on each ticket.
About any open positions at all, Renee told me that the store had just hired a bunch of people for each, so she asked me to come back at the end of my shift.
Not surprisingly, she still had yet to find anything by then, and rescheduled for 11 today.
Brought that cooler to the car trunk, and suggested Mom bring it into the house when we arrived home while I take out a bag of garbage sitting right on the driveway.
