Sep. 6th, 2024 06:47 amFollowing yesterday's entry, I fell down a rabbit hole, downloaded Mumu onto my laptop, and spent at least an hour trying to figure out both there and on my phone how I changed my wallpaper more than once before in such a way that would actually fit properly. In the end, I pulled it off on Mumu with an app called Wallpaper Setter, initially with my old Madoka swimsuit pic right in my laptop's gallery but later on with a screenshot I found of War Nurse and Rapture in episode 7 of Asuka.
Will probably use that one upstairs eventually, when it's time to actually showcase not only a playthrough but how to enable superuser access on Mumu, which will require me to un- and re-install that and might get a short video dedicated thereto. In the meantime, not only would that look awkward in front of a desktop wallpaper of A Little Snow Fairy Sugar, somehow moreso than my planned Lucky Star image to bring back (I did mention a difference before between that show in turn and Pokemon, to juxtapose directly with Kanon) for when I begin once and for all with Earthbound, but now would be a good time to find something to cycle out then instead of having the same pic forever.
As far as dye jobs go, I actually am considering now, whether or not to find at least one girl in each of my planned games to "brunify", with or without any actual reasons, on a case-by-case basis. For one of the simplest examples, it would probably clash the least on Goombella in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (Brunella? Brumbella?), between her, Madame Flurry, and Vivian, although I wouldn't bother so much with Peach/Toadstool in Super Mario RPG, since she spans the franchise itself and already has an equivalent character in Daisy. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: The 7th Stand User, meanwhile, is monochrome as a whole, with only the cover art in color, so that game is obviously moot.

Went with Mom and Marie yesterday afternoon for a brief walk on the beach.
During the ride there, Mom brought us up to speed on Dad's situation to date at several different hospitals, how rare his condition is that the staff are probably going to write up a report, and his hopes for when or if he finally gets better. (I had also noticed a message she deleted on Uguu Blue: Lemonade Crew, which she specified was the most recent hospital she has brought Dad to but couldn't take a good enough picture of on her phone. She had instead tried uploading a pic from Google Images, but only the code showed up. She also mentioned that it was actually one of three pics she tried to show us, the other two successfully on the original Uguu Crew.)
