Jan. 3rd, 2026 04:43 amFinally got the video done yesterday, and waited to show Mom when she'd be home from work before exporting the project.
Upon exporting, I was also presented with the option to cloud-save it. While exporting took barely any time at all, the backup process went on for hours starting at around 3, such that I would leave my apartment computer on overnight, and ultimately failed while I was asleep.
Turned out when I got up at 2, initially to use the bathroom, that I didn't have enough storage space. The video is 8 gigabytes, and free users of Filmora only get one. Entered an annual plan for enough space for both the current video and future ones, and did the same on Google Drive to host those along with individual assets and backups of my previous videos, all in a dedicated folder.
Went on to set my video to upload, although it will remain unlisted for until I get both the side-hack and Paula's pic into place.
Got up an hour ago before starting this entry, and thought I might add in some tags to start with, but the upload had only progressed to 4%. Was not surprised from there to see it still less than halfway uploaded to both Filmora Cloud and Google Drive, and decided to go back downstairs.
(Mom and I are supposed to bring our pickup to Firestone this morning, and will be hitting the gym before coming back for it. All the better that I got things started on three different platforms early this morning; might as well go back to bed.)
