dmxratedYesterday, Mom smelled some kind of smoke in the house, and it suggested that an electrical fire could break out soon. It turned out to be coming from the dishwasher, and smoke poured out from it when she opened it. For the rest of the day, we had to wash dishes by hand.
Brian and I went out food shopping (without Mom for the first time) before going to Toys 'R' Us. I got most of the groceries, and Brian did point out a few mistakes, but said I did pretty good. He said that we don't eat WonderBread, but I just picked that out indiscriminately when I was getting some bread.
The trip to Toys 'R' Us went smoothly. We just went in, I downloaded Shaymin onto Pokemon Pearl, picked up the Pokemon at a PokeMart, and we left. As for how I'm gonna transfer Shaymin--and Regigigas--onto Pokemon Platinum, most likely, I'll have Taylor help me with that (and to trade-evolve certain Pokemon), assuming I have a good friendship going with him when I get around to playing Platinum. Otherwise, I'll just request or buy a second Nintendo DS.
Choosing which Pokemon to trade is another question. Well, according to Bulbapedia, Glameow and Stunky are not going to be available in Platinum. I'm not gonna trade one-of-a-kind Pokemon (such as Dialga) from Platinum either. Originally, I was gonna trade some Pokemon that can evolve by trading, but I have most of those on Pearl already (albeit in unevolved forms). Clamperl isn't available in Platinum, King's Rocks are hard to come across (ruling out Slowpoke and Seadra), and there is only one Porygon in Platinum. My best bet, though seems to be Cranidos. I can just dig up some Skull Fossils and revive two at the Oreburgh Museum, one for myself and one to trade.
I went out of my way to wash the car yesterday, at some point after coming home with Brian. The day before, I told Mom that it really needs a wash. This is the first time I've ever took care of that without being told.
