Yesterday was Mother's Day. Mom was in the bathroom drying her hair when me, Brian, and Marie were about to present some flower baskets to her. Marie had the idea of placing them in front of the bathroom door so that she trips on them, but me and Brian didn't like that idea. After we waited for nearly five minutes, I came up with the idea of landing one hard knock on the door, and Brian liked that one better.

Brian's old friend James came over yesterday, and me and Mom were the first other ones to greet him. He and Brian then went inside to play a game of chess, before going back home.
