Yesterday, Dad drove me and Mom to Uncle Robby's house. Brian stayed home from this. Before we left, Mom suggested that I add some DVD series called The Taking of Pelham One Two Three to my Netflix account, as my Father's Day gift this year.

On the way to New Jersey, we stopped by Marie's dorm and paid her a visit. The most notable thing about that would be Dad saying to her, "Not very good in crowds, are you?", after she weaved through a group of people walking between us and her.

Anyway, we got to the house, and Aunt Allison, Grandpa Bob, and Cousin Adam were there too. Aunt Allison had brought some donuts and munchkins, which I took a few of.

Not much to say about our actual stay at the house. All I did most of the time was either sleep in Uncle Robby's bed or walk around outside. However, I did eat dinner and dessert with them. We celebrated Grandpa's birthday late, presenting a strawberry shortcake and a lemon tart, and gave Adam a late birthday present, which was this three-part novel series called Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Mom also noticed some spinoff book called the Do-it-yourself Diary of a Wimpy Kid, which she assumed would be like my Chronicles of 7th Grade (i.e. writing stuff that happens every day). Aunt Allison and some others talked about that for a bit, but as it turns out the book in question is nothing like Co7G. It's just full of all sorts of illustrations and fill-in-the-blanks, but I did write the link to my blog for Adam, so that he could read Co7G for himself.

(Adam, if you're interested in reading Co7G from the beginning, click the word "Previous" at the top of this webpage, and look for my entry from May 15. Click the words "Read more" to see the actual content in most of them, unless you see a block of italicized text already on whichever entry you're reading.)

Not much happened on the way home. When we got home, I asked Brian if he looked at the DVD player, and he said he took care of it. I didn't actually test the remote or any DVDs yet, so I'll get to that today.
