Chronicles of 7th Grade: My birthday
Jul. 13th, 2009 07:16 amMarch 16, 1999 (Tuesday; my birthday)
Mrs. B. was pissed at me all fricken day. I thought she would remember my birthday, but she didn’t. On the way to Social Studies, I ran from her and laughed. While we were in Social Studies, she asked me to let her take notes for me, but I just did it myself. WE I8 wasn’t completed after all. During 4th Period, we had the Science Olympics.
Before we went to Group today, Mom took me to McDonald’s. I got milkshakes for everyone. While we were at Group, I shared yesterday with the group. I told them that I asked Danny if I could borrow Ocarina of Time, but he couldn’t lend it to me, so I borrowed Tetris Attack from Mr. Clemens instead. Anu asked me “How did you feel when he couldn’t lend you the game?” I told her “I didn’t mind if he had a good reason not to lend it to me.” Josh showed us some Lego robots he had. I then explained to the group that today was my birthday. I gave everyone a milkshake. We did a role play where we met at Sports Plus for my birthday, and everyone gave me gifts. Sean wanted to pretend he was giving me a cheesy gift. I was supposed to say thank you to everyone. After group, Ms. Nadvordnik asked me “How’s it feel to be 26?”
On the way home, I drank my milkshake. For dinner, we had stew. (Why did we have to have stew on my birthday?) I couldn’t eat anymore after a while.
Back to the present.
I got the good ending once again in Panel de Pon. Unlike the first time, though, I only managed to beat the game with four fairies (not counting Lip, the main character who can't die anyway). To commemorate this, though, I opened up the ROM, waited through the title screen, and skipped through some tutorials and demos before the character profiles came up.
There are still four more days left to play PdP. If I was able to beat the game before with seven fairies, then maybe I will take the time to break my record from yesterday.
