Marie's ex-boyfriend Scott just sent me an interview about Chronicles of 7th Grade, which I will put some thought into today. Tomorrow, there won't be any Co7G entries, because I'm instead going to post his questions and my answers to them.

Just one entry today, which was written as a sample on the same day during 2008. At that time, the house where Uncle Robby and Grandpa Bob lived was different than where we visited him the previous September, and he also moved to the one he currently lives in three years later.

March 21, 1999 (Sunday)

This morning, I got up early and played Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. I left my game running when we left for Uncle Robby’s.

On the way to Uncle Robby’s, Mom was listening to oldies, and there was this song called “You talk too much.” When we got to a rest area, I thought about that lip sync, and I thought that one of the teachers might sing that.

When we got to Uncle Robby’s, Mom picked up Adam. Grandpa Bob wasn’t there yet. I asked Brian to do Baby Bongos. He did, and Uncle Robby asked him what that was. Brian told him.

Soon, I brought all my stuffed animals out of the car, and Brian’s like “Look’s like Eric found his best friend.” Mom’s like “Don’t get embarrassed. You know he loves them.” Uncle Robby asked me what the squirrel’s name was. I told him his name’s Nuts. After a few minutes, we then went down to the lake to feed the ducks.

When we came back, I wandered outside and thought about that game. In New York City the second time around, Janus had lost her baby and her six kittens, and you have to find them. One of them is in someone’s house, one of them is in the sewer, one of them is the prize for a snowboarding race, one of them is in another person’s house who gives it to you, one of them is in Ms. Kenzig’s car (Ms. Kenzig has been killed, and you find her keys from her), and the other two are somewhere else.

When I came back inside, I slept on the couch for a long time. Brian, Marie, and Grandpa Bob went outside to play baseball, but I just kept sleeping. Tonight, we were having beef casserole, but I don’t like beef casserole, so I just skipped dinner tonight. When Mom asked me to do something, I didn’t wanna get up, but she’s like “You’re the one who had a nap all day.” I pretended my stuffed animals would do it. I also pretended a spray can would do it, and I threw it to the fridge, and Mom got mad at me. Mom asked me to get something from the car, and I threw Trikle down the stairs to get it, and then I sent Duckbutt to get him, and I’m like “Duckbutt, go get him,” and then I sent Seaweed, and then Nuts, and then Mole, and then I would pretend to go tobogganing, and I’m like “I’m going tobogganing.”

Grandpa Bob and Uncle Robby were watching TV, and there was this commercial for a car, and it was racing with a dragon, and the speaker’s like “Ford. It knows good, it knows evil.” I might use the dragon as one of Raethine’s underlings, called Raethlings, in my game.

When I came back up, Marie asked Grandpa “What’s upstairs?” He told her there are dragons upstairs. Me and Marie went upstairs, and when we came back down, I’m like “I’m going tobogganing.” (i.e. sliding down the stairs on my legs)

When we got in the suburban, my white blanket felt nice and cool, and I tried to touch it as little as possible. On the way home, Mom stopped at the gas station, and the gas dealer was speaking Pakistinian.

We got home really fricken late tonight. I turned off my game, and I’m like “This game’s crappy.” Brian’s like “I know you are.”

And now, the footnotes from when I previously posted this...

Baby Bongos: an immitation of the Toads from the limbo game from Mario Party. I make the high-pitched "hwaaah" sound that actually is in the game, and then Brian (cutely) says "Ba-by bon-goes ba-by bon-goes" in time to his hands hitting the pretend bongoes.

Trikle, Duckbutt, etc.:Duckbutt was that yellow duck that I mentioned in the entry "What 7th Grade-related item did I come across yesterday," Trikle was a teddy bear that I had since I was a baby, Nuts was a beanie baby squirrel (and it was his actual name), Seaweed was a stuffed otter that was originally Marie's (which she got from school), and Mole is actually a stuffed hedgehog that Grandma Ella gave me when I was in 4th Grade.

About the game I've referred to in the entry: This game was something I thought up. The story is that a vampire named Raethine has taken away Nintendo 64 from everyone, and it's up to Brian, five other then-5th graders, six then-6th-graders, and six then-7th graders that I've known to defeat Raethine and get it back. Most of the game consists of a bunch of random locales where the objective is to collect five Jinjos (from Banjo-Kazooie), a Pikachu, and a cubic N symbol.

Janus and Mrs. Kenzig: Until one point during that year, Janus Papa (paa-puh) worked at the Longwood Middle School, sometimes substituting Ms. Bandows as my one-on-one. She later got a different job at some preschool, where she took care of "ten 2-year-olds" (her words). Ms. Kenzig sometimes substituted for Ms. Bandows as well, but I never knew what else she did.

And unfortunately, I was previously unable to find the Ford commercial on YouTube, although I do remember that the whole thing was animated. Right now, I'm at the hospital, where I am unable to go onto YouTube. If I find it tonight, though, I'll be sure to provide a link to it tomorrow.

Back to the present.

I've been trying to break my record for Panel de Pon since several days ago. Last night, I managed to get the good ending, only losing Ruby, Neris, and Selene (equivalents to Wiggler, Lunge Fish, and Raphael the Raven in Tetris Attack). Well, that's it for now with that game. It is at least one more fairy than I was able to keep two or three days ago.

It just occurred to me that Ellen and Jigglypuff could parody Makenro's transformation sequence from Makeruna! Makendou Z. For the latter, we have Marylin hopping into the air, shooting a tiny beam that causes Makenro's clothes to dissolve, taking Makenro's ribbon off her hair, and said ribbon going around her body and becoming the bikini that she wears. In the parody, Jigglypuff could do the some of the same stuff, except that Ellen has no ribbon to remove. Instead of that, though, Jigglypuff could start singing, and a stream of musical notes could be what forms her bikini. (Not sure if this would actually become fanfiction material, and unfortunately, there are no videos for any FMVs from MMZ. I'm still unable to upload footage onto my computer, which means that the only way to see it would be to play the game.)
