Three entries today. Sunday is the day I started going to softball, playing for the Sachems. Wednesday is the day that people spoke of the infamous Columbine High School Massacre. Saturday is just a visit by Brian's friend Eric.

April 18, 1999 (Sunday)

When this week’s session of Sunday School ended, I spoke to Pastor Ralph about Summer Camp last year. I told him how Corinne and Quinton and the other counselors there made us miserable during the first two days there, and he said “They shouldn’t be making you miserable. They should be making you happy. We’ll make sure nothing like this happens again.”

Today was also the first day I went to softball with Matthew, Josh, Sean, and other autistic kids. Our team is called the Sachems.

While I was doing my homework today, Mom and Brian were also in the kitchen talking about something that happened in Littleton Colorado. They said that two kids planted bombs at a high school, shot up an entire classroom, and then shot themselves.

“You mean there is such a thing as bomb plants?” I jokingly asked Brian. Mom asked us what bomb plants are, and he told her that they’re something from Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

April 24, 1999 (Saturday)

Today, Eric came to visit us while I was playing Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. He and Brian watched me and talked about it as I played along. While the first half of the ending was playing, Brian told Eric that he likes the ending in Ocarina of Time a lot better than in this game. “In Ocarina of Time, everyone’s having a big party. In here, it’s like, eh.”

Brian and Eric played Super Bomberman after I turned off my game. I watched them until they beat the first boss, and then went outside while the boss theme was playing in my head.

Before Eric went home, Mom saw Jeff Foxworthy on TV, and told me to let Eric and Brian know. I watched part of that episode, and I don’t know how much of it the other two watched.

Back to the present.

I think I might be getting bored of Pokemon Diamond right now, which might be for the better in case any downloading events are announced in the States. However, I'm at the part where I need to get three special belts from this old man on Route 221, and to get each one of them, I have to show him a Pokemon whose level number matches his number of choice between 1 and 100. It changes daily, so I won't be playing the game much to begin with, especially while I have Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time to play. So, if it turns out that I really am bored of this game, I'll just put it aside for now, and if I feel like picking it up again, I'll continue. I'm playing this by ear.
