Chronicles of 7th Grade, week 39
Aug. 1st, 2009 07:26 amSunday: Brian rents a game. Nothing significant.
Monday: Nothing significant.
Wednesday: For those of you who don't remember what "the Mysterious Path" was, read my Halloween entry.
Finally, I've decided that Saturday and the following Sunday can get their own entry tomorrow, considering the significance of the events during that particular weekend. This gives me one extra day to probably have free before the next game in line, since I'm most likely going to complete Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time today or tomorrow.
May 23, 1999 (Sunday)
Mom and Marie came home today, and they told me that they saw Anna on their trip.
Dad let Brian rent Rampage: Universal Tour today.
May 24, 1999 (Monday)
Today, Brian got a box of Pokemon cards. I had a look at them, and they came with these gold and dark blue tablets.
May 26, 1999 (Wednesday)
This afternoon, we had to go to the middle school. Before we left home, though, Marie showed us some stuffed coyote that she got, and asked if she should name it Wily or Howie. I then went into the house and got Nuts, and when I came back into the car, Brian grabbed it and threw it out the window. I retrieved it, and Brian continued to chuck it out the window, and the process continued before we left.
All that was at the school were plans to turn the mysterious path into a road. While we were there, though, we saw Dorothy and her two kids. Kyle decided to come with us as we left.
I continued to tease Brian with Nuts as we drove home. I swung Nuts back and forth by his tail, and Brian grabbed him and threw him into the way back seat. I retrieved him, and later, Brian asked me to let him cuddle him. I fell for it, and he threw Nuts behind us again. When we were almost home, I showed Nuts to Kyle, and Brian’s like “Yeah, give Nuts to Kyle.” We didn’t actually give Nuts to him.
After I went to bed, Dad came into my room to speak to me.
“Eric, you have three ways of talking,” he said. “One, you talk to me, and it’s intelligent, but then there’s ‘wee wee wee wee wee cute little squirrell’, and then there’s “bwagh bwagh bwagh, kicked his ass!’” I laughed while he was talking to me, even though he told me not to, and then he’s like “I’m not talking to you.”
A few minutes later, Mom came in to lecture me as well.
“Ever since we got you that Nintendo for Christmas, you’ve been obsessed with it. What was the first thing you said when you went sailing?”
A few seconds went by, and then she continued. “It was, ‘when can we go home?’ Your father thought that you were mature enough to play Nintendo without being obsessed, but it turns out he was wrong. He’s not talking to you.”
Back to the present.
