Chronicles of 7th Grade, week 41

dmxratedSunday was the day I had Matthew over after softball. On Tuesday, a pizza party was held at lunch period for everyone who had been in chorus. On Wednesday, me and Brian just visited Daniel, and guided him through a dungeon in Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. And then, Friday marks a dispute I had with Ms. Bandows, which was also referred to on September 25, 2007 (see third paragraph down).
June 6, 1999 (Sunday)
Before Mom took me to softball, Dad asked me to fill a hole in the greenhouse with some dirt. Mom told her that I couldn’t right before going to softball, and after softball was no good either since I was gonna have Matthew over.
When I got to the softball field, I started to speak to Matthew about Erin, and he jokingly shouted “SHE’S GOT A BIG CONESHAPED NOSE!!!” Don’t worry. I don’t think anyone heard us.”
When we got home, Brian and Marie were watching some movie called Beanstalk, which is based on the story Jack and the Beanstalk. Me and Matthew watched part of it, before playing Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
When we started playing the game, I first showed him the first demo that plays when you sit through the title screen long enough. It shows Link inside the Spirit Temple, face to face with Koume and Kotake. However, instead of the music that plays when that actually happens, we hear the music that plays for most of that dungeon, which happens to be my favorite song in the game.
Then, we actually started playing the game. Matthew just wandered around Hyrule Field, using Din’s Fire each time a pair of Stalchildren rose from the ground. However, he did find the Royal Family’s Tomb, and used Din’s Fire to light a pair of torches in the first chamber. Doing so revealed a treasure chest.
After we ate dinner, I asked Matthew to follow me onto Masem Court, and he’s like “Is this about ‘her’?” It was. As we got onto Masem Court, we also spotted a roadkill mole.
June 8, 1999 (Tuesday)
The other night, Mom suggested that I try making friends with Erin. Today at Lunch Period, a pizza party was being held in the Activity Court for everyone who was in Chorus. While I ate there, I saw Erin talking to some other girls, and I noticed her raising her knee up in the air. I asked the girls what they were talking about, and they said music. That was it.
After telling Mom about this attempt, she told me that Brian often listened to something called Fresh 5 on the radio each night. I listened to that each night for the next several months, and my favorite song that was playing at the time was Genie in a Bottle, by Christina Aguilara. I also did get Erin’s phone number before school ended, but I never did call her.
Today, I forgot my English textbook in my locker on the way home, so I was unable to do the homework that was assigned for that class. I told Mom and Dad, and asked them if I should write a note. This is the second time in a row that this has happened, and Dad’s like, “When your teachers assign you homework, they want the work. They don’t want notes saying what you’ll do in the future, or how sorry you are, or…” He kept naming other examples, and then Mom spoke after he was finished.
"From now on, instead of thinking ‘Let’s just get out of here,’ maybe you should stop to see what you need.”
Having forgotten my book at school bought me some free time, but it didn’t feel good. Still, even though Dad said that writing a note is useless, it couldn’t hurt, right?
June 9, 1999 (Wednesday)
This afternoon, me and Brian went over to Danny’s house and watched him play Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Patrick was also in Danny’s room with us, and Danny was trying to make it through the Water Temple. He played the Song of Storms after killing Dark Link, and it caused rain to fall inside the temple. Other than that, though, me and Brian just guided him through the place, and then watched him fight Morpha. He beat it, and then we watched the scene where Link talks to Sheik on top of the island in Lake Hylia. Sheik referred to link as “Dan,” which means that that’s the name Danny entered before starting the game.
June 11, 1999 (Friday)
Today in Science, Ms. B. went somewhere without letting me know, but when she came back, she’s like “You know who I called?”
“Mom,” I answered.
“That’s right. I also called her during Social Studies.”
I then told her that for the rest of the day, I was gonna run ahead of her between each period. When 6th period started, she asked me if what I said was true, and I said yes. She then ordered me several times to come with her while she calls Mom for a third time, and I refused, and then she’s like “I’m gonna talk to Mr. Verdi.” I then came with her, and she just went to a room across House 2N, not to Mr. Verdi’s office. Ms. Mancini came with us as well She put me on the phone after dialing up.
After I got off, I started crying, and said “I never liked you anyway,” but Ms. Mancini’s like “That’s not true. You’re just upset right now.”
We then went down to some office near the entrance, and Mom and Dad met us there. Mom told Ms. B. to retrieve my lunchbox from my locker while I speak to her and Dad. They asked me what was going on.
“She’s always yelling at me,” I told Dad.
“She yells at you?” Dad asked me.
“Talks sternly to me.”
“That’s her job. It’s very frustrating when she asks you to stop tapping your pen, and then you start doing it again. You see, you have a tendency to copy the wrong things.”
I came home early with Mom and Dad, but Mom’s like “We didn’t bring you home because we like having you in the house.” I then asked if I was gonna be punished, but they said no and asked “Why? Do you wanna be punished?”
I then started playing Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. This time, I’m not gonna start over. I’m just gonna use the same file I’ve been playing on, and find all the Gossip Stones in the game. I already know where all the Secret Grottos are, and I’m gonna use the Mask of Truth to get the truth and nothing but the truth.
Back to the present.

Marie has gone home yesterday.
I ended up not playing Pokemon Diamond at all yesterday. That might be for the better, because this morning, I gotta start working on some list that Jake has requested of me, before it gets hot. Meanwhile, I have finished my first complete readthrough of Japanese in Mangaland volume 3, and have skimmed through most of volume 2 again.
