Actually, this lj-entry will cover three Co7G entries. Sunday, Dad cut his hand, and we three kids had to spend several hours at Dorothy's house while Mom took him to the hospital. Thursday, I nearly got into trouble over a tennis ball. Friday is when the dance took place, but unfortunately, I don't have enough to write about it. Saturday will be reserved for tomorrow; whether it will stand alone or be combined with the following week, I have yet to decide.

Tonight, Dad cut his hand, and Mom had to take him to the hospital. She sent me, Brian, and Marie over to Dorothy’s house. While we were there, we watched some Alladin movie with Kyle and Catherine. It wasn’t the first Alladin; it actually revolved around something called the Hand of Midas. We went back home after the movie was over, even though Mom and Dad weren’t home yet.

Today in Gym, we were out at the tennis court, hitting tennis balls at the fence. I hit a whole bunch over the fence, while also bouncing some off the fence. Towards the end of the period, Coach O’Neal saw me hit one over the fence, and he got mad. He yelled “Hey! You owe me a ball!” A few minutes later, I asked him how much it would cost, but he told me that someone else got it back.

“Tell him, ‘Thanks for saving me $1.29,” he told me. I did so.

Tonight was the night of the End of the Year Dance. I danced with Libby. Most of the time, I was doing that dance with my fist moving in an upward-diagonal motion, and every so often, did a spin jump and then jumped forward.

Mom came to pick me up during the song We Are Family. On the way home, she told me that Brian rented Star Wars Episode I: Racer.

I wandered outside when we got home. The lights in the garage were off, and I’ve never wandered outside when it was this dark. It felt like if I howled at the moon, Stalchildren would rise from the ground.

I should note that back then, Dad used to work in the garage, as opposed to at a workshop in Patchogue, and he often did work even after the sun went down. Also, in case you're wondering, Stalchildren are these skeletal creatures from Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, which rise in pairs from the ground in Hyrule Field.

Next game: Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars

Back to the present.

Received: Lucky Star, disk 3

As of yesterday, I put Queen of Queens back up on Ebay for the first time in months. I also bought a copy of the Playstation version of Makeruna! Makendou 2. A gameplay video on YouTube reveals that unlike the Super Famicom version, this version has voice acting, which means I might as well fandub that game when it comes time to doing so for Makeruna! Makendou Z (and the OAV, for which thankfully, a text translation is already provided). As a bonus, Masoccer has a better song on the PSX version than on the SFC version, which I would expect would also hold true for the other characters in the game.

While the Playstation 2 is able to play games for the original Playstation, playing import games is a different story. However, I already did ask about that on the ROMhacking.net forum, and should be able to refer to it when I get around to looking into bypassing the regional lockout.
