Sunday School this week didn’t last as long as it usually does. Pastor Ralph started this session off with “Welcome on this beach morning,” and everyone laughed slightly. After listening to him speak for about five minutes, we all went downstairs and had a feast. It wasn’t the same kind of feast as we had on Christmas, though. I took plenty of sugary things like chocolate, but I also had a slice of lemon, so that I would have at least one thing that didn’t contain sugar.

Today, Danny came over, and he and Brian looked at Pokemon cards. While Brian wasn’t looking, I snuck a Beanie Baby card of Stretch into his card album, and when he came back to look through it, he’s like “Who put Stretch in here?”

Matthew came over today. Me and him mostly watched Brian play Super Mario RPG. However, during the middle of the day, we also played Mortal Kombat Trilogy, even though we’re not supposed to. While we were playing, Mrs. Silverman came over to visit Marie. I greeted her, and she also brought a Beanie Baby moose named Chocolate for us to keep.

During that school year, Mrs. Silverman was Marie’s teacher for 3rd grade. Brian and I also had her as our teacher during our respective years in 4th grade.

It should also be noted that during this week, although Brian had played Super Mario RPG before, he made a point this time to find a one-of-a-kind item called the Star Egg. That particular item is won in Grate Guy’s Casino after winning fifty rounds of pick-a-hand. When used, it deals 100 damage to all enemies in any given battle, and can be used endlessly.
