Nothing too special happened, save for the after-softball get-together on Sunday. However, unlike the previous week, I was able to remember some stuff from every single day of the week covered today. Saturday and the following Sunday will be reserved for tomorrow.
July 25, 1999 (Sunday)
Today, after softball, all of us went to McDonald’s. I sat with Matthew, Josh, and Sean. They ordered milkshakes, but I ordered a burger. I thought I’d be able to get both a burger and a milkshake, but I wasn’t able to get a milkshake after eating my burger. While we were eating, the other kids talked about Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace.
July 26, 1999 (Monday)
Tonight, Dad drove us to the library. I looked at some MAD Magazines, and then waited on the bench by the doors. Dad came over, and brought me back into the adult section, telling me about how, when I go somewhere, I might as well do stuff that I can do there, or else it’s a waste of time.
We then went to WalMart. While we were there, I asked Dad if I could go to the electronics section. He said no. I kept bothering him, and then he told me that I could go, but when they leave, he wouldn’t come to get me. I then stayed where we were and looked at a price tag. About five minutes later, he said he would come get me if I went.
July 27, 1999 (Tuesday)
This morning in summer camp, when we went to nature, Brian and Travis noticed that Alex was wearing a Sailor Moon t-shirt, and smirked at him.
After nature was over, someone asked me to beat up Alex. I told him that I’d do it only if he answers me one question. Someone then came over and said “I’ll make sure he doesn’t leave,” and then more kids lined up, each of them saying “I’ll make sure he doesn’t leave” after the other. When they were done, I asked the kid “Does Anna still wear braces?” He said yes. I then went over to Alex and pretended to punch him.
During music, Quinton showed us some of the songs that the little kids were singing. One of them was the Inspector Gadget theme, but another one was something related to Mortal Kombat. Part of the Mortal Kombat song sounds more like it belongs in Snowboard Kids. Brian and James even said so, before it sounded like Mortal Kombat again.
When Mom drove us home, Brian told her about this whole thing about Anna and Alex. Mom’s like “Don’t you think you might’ve embarrassed Anna? Do you ever look at her face? Or just her braces?” I then told her about how he and Travis smirked at Alex for what he was wearing. She’s like “Maybe he thinks they’re cute.”
“One of them has blue hair,” said Brian.
In Group today, I told Anu about what happened in Summer Camp, and we had a role play where she would ask me to beat someone up. She’s like “I’ll give you $20,” “$30”, “$40”, “$50”, and I said no to each of them.
“Why,” she asked.
“Because it’s wrong,” I answered.
July 28, 1999 (Wednesday)
Today, I had a backache, and had to stay home from Summer Camp. During the afternoon, Dad took my temperature, and it turned out that I was sick.
July 29, 1999 (Thursday)
Before we left Summer Camp today, it started raining, and we all went into the church. After we all got in, Pastor Ralph started saying something about Anthony.
“Now, there is one boy named Anthony,” he started saying, “and I understand that he’s a bit of a loose cannon. He never stays with his group, but on the other hand, someone was throwing rocks, and he got hit. Now, I’m not interested in who was doing it.”
He finished there, and then had us all sing the poison ivy song. Everyone groaned before we sang.
Brian and Marie brought it up at dinner. Marie told Dad that everyone was saying “Blame it on Billy, he’s a troublemaker!” Dad then started to tell us about how trials work. He told us that when someone gets arrested, there is someone that defends him, and someone that prosecutes him. There is also the need for evidence. For example, if someone backs up into a person’s car, the victim’s car might have a dent, but the other person’s car might have a dent and a paint scrape.
July 30, 1999 (Friday)
Today was the summer camp Olympics. While we were coming up with a name for our group, we decided upon the All Stars. Three of the other groups decided on the Pokemon, the Rugrats, and the Army Girls. When we got our group pictures taken, I gave Anna bunny-ears, but then I started to regret it as we paraded around the field.
Later on, we had a water balloon fight, and I tried to save my water balloon to take home and put in the freezer. Before we did the tug-o-war, Adam [one of the little kids] came over and asked me if he could see it. I gave it to him, and he popped it. I pushed him on the ground and stomped on his potato chips, and he started crying. One of the counselors came to him, and I apologized. I then went to the cooler, got a chunk of ice, brought it back, and placed it on Adam’s back to make him feel better, but the counselor told me that I’m just making him nervous.
When we got home, Mom rented Pokemon Snap for Brian.
At dinner, I confessed to everyone what I did to Adam, and Dad’s like “Don’t do that. It makes you look like a bully.”
Finished watching: Galaxy Angel
Back to the present.
Marie went back to her dorm yesterday. Mom later told me that as the two of them were on their way there, they saw a car go up in flames.
I got around to calling up Vincent yesterday, and told him that I thought it might be a good idea if we had a break from seeing each other until school began. He said that if he was getting on my nerves with his lectures, he would've stopped if I simply told him so. I did say that other than driving around and eating out, we haven't been doing anything since I stopped looking for jobs, but he told me that we've made good progress improving my behavior and making me more aware of my autistic tendencies. So, he told me to reconsider, and I think he might be right. Anyway, our next meeting will be tomorrow rather than today, since today is the last day he is able to see another one of his clients before said client goes on some trip.
After having already taken apart my Super NES and bringing it down from the apartment, I brought my DVD player upstairs and watched parts of some Mon Colle Knights episodes. In particular, I wanted to see Rockna's creepy-face act, which appeared in the first episode and in Chelle's fic Window to Your Soul. As it turns out, that scene had been cut from the dub, which is no surprise since the dub merged the first and second episodes together.

Date: 2019-07-12 02:49 pm (UTC)Poor communication kills ^_^. You didn't tell him he annoyed you and he doesn't seem to have told you whether or not you're making progress with something.
Anyway, you're in America, right? The MCK DVDs are R2, so do you have an all-region player or did you figure out how to disable region coding? And since I'm on the topic of availability, is it correct Rokuna's mom appears in the manga? If so, could you make a photo of her appearance, please?
