Upon receiving Makeruna! Makendou 2 two days ago, I looked for something called Breaker Pro. As it turns out, though, all stores that claim to have it are scams. Therefore, I'm left with either waiting for it to come up on Ebay or just buying an import Playstation; will probably wait to do the latter when I'm actually making money, which I'll most likely do after school starts.

Dad started fixing up the sink and toilet in the apartment, and told me not to use them until they're fixed up. The shower water was also affected, and is gonna be extremely hot until he adjusts it, though I can still use the cold handle to moderate it.

Grandpa Bob came over yesterday. I helped Mom unroll my bedroom rug and put the bottom bunk back together in my room.

Mom also had me wash his car, and then came over and noticed something on his windshield and several windows. She sent me to ask him what it was, and he said it was sap. She then scraped it off with a razor blade.

GETTER LOVE!!

Man, that was such an addictive game. I played it a total of five times throughout yesterday, but since I hardly got a few turns in each, they can be considered practice rounds. At first, I had trouble making out what anybody was saying, even after all that studying of Japanese I've been doing, but that didn't make me want to play it any less. Plenty of kanji and katakana to translate, and I did catch on eventually.

Round 1: Went to Cafe Liquid, and took the opportunity to talk to Makoto. Upon starting a conversation with her, I briefly put the controller down and got up just to hear the music. It's not exactly exciting, but still not half bad for my tastes; kinda like what you'd hear on the cable channel, or if you're on hold during a service phone call. Didn't play much longer than that.

Round 2: Okay, wtf? I know you're not supposed to use item cards before selecting a destination (although you do have the option of discarding them). But, for some reason, I couldn't even use one when I went home and selected the green gift box icon. Turned the game off after that.

Round 3: Can't remember anything that happened, except that before I started the actual game, I went into the options menu and selected Makoto, since she's supposed to know a thing or two about items.

Round 4: Note to self: "Evening" means dusk, not night. I got a call from Ayumi, asking me to meet her at Panda Park. I thought that meant "tonight", so I went home and... used an item card, when I "should've" bathed or rested up. Next thing I know, the poor girl calls me on my phone, asking me where the hell I was, and some blue, broken hearts fall down through the screen. That's where I stop playing.

Oh, and speaking of Ayumi, I gotta say that she officially has my favorite song in the game. Gee, too bad that there are no Getter Love!! songs available on YouTube, or anywhere else. I mean, I know that there is a soundtrack album for it, but no MP3s means I can't link you to it.

Round 5: Today's Nakayoshi girl is Natsuki, and this is also the first time I've seen her in the game. Two of my opponents went after her, but after rolling the dice and going to Panda Park, I met up with Shizuku and set up a date with her instead. Said date was set at Cafe Liquid, and Kiiro also happened to be there with her. Had a nice conversation with the two girls, but turned off the game afterwards.

Today's song:
Green Garden
Bomberman 64
Nintendo 64, same console that Getter Love!! was made for.
Hudson Soft, the same company that made Getter Love!!
