Aug. 25th, 2009 06:56 pmDidn't bother going to work with Mom this morning. I had gotten up at around 4:30 in the morning to have a shower that I should've had before going to bed. I felt kinda guilty about not going, but I was just too drowsy to stay awake.
Tomorrow, I'm definitely going, because at this point, I really could use a break from Getter Love!! Played three games, and then spent the rest of the day doing other stuff, like converting my MMZ transcript into romaji and getting focused back on the Yoshi's Island events list.
GETTER LOVE!!
Round 1: Makoto is my girl today. Took her out to the beach along the way. She kept her clothes on, but held her sandals out in the breeze. Guess she's self-conscious about her body, huh?
Anyway, this is the second time that a computer-rival (in this case, Daisuke) struck out on a girl (Hana). You should've seen it! He gained two rows of hearts, and then lost three before the lightning struck him!
I then met up with Makoto at the Panda Department Store, and mis-answered a question she asked me. Chikashi then won with Natsuki.
Round 2: Makoto, again. Competed with Daisuke for her when he asked Kaoru for her whereabouts, and remained with the short end of the stick the whole time. Needless to say, he won. Though, I could've bought more time if only I had remembered that I had a Youshi-Down card in my inventory.
Shortly before that round ended, though, I challenged Chikashi to a paintball game at Cafe Liquid, beat him, and stole all his remaining money. If you choose to steal someone's cash after winning, the number is 5,000 yen. He had slightly less than that.
Round 3: Makoto, for the third time in a row. She appeared on my doorstep one time, when I stayed home to recover some energy. Other than that and using a Present card earlier in the game to send her a Teddy Bear, I don't really remember anything. I did win her Suki Suki ending, which depicts her (you guessed it!) in the sparkly background, not really doing anything but talking.
No memory-unlocking topics were unlocked with my win, but the doorstep scene was saved to my game pak.
Tonight's song:
Never Ending Cavern
Jim Power: The Lost Dimension of 3D
Super NES
Electro Brain (Chris Hülsbeck)
