dmxratedWhen I went to workstudy yesterday, my supervisor Patty wasn't there, but one of the other workstudy students, who would be later introduced as Cathy, was. Me and Cathy took care of one bin of mail that was left for us to sort out, and I also answered the phone. Patty rung me and said that she would be there in five minutes. I took out Japanese in Mangaland, volume 3, to read while we waited for her.
Later, she was there, and so was this boy who she introduced as Ilker. Patty had me and Ilker try to copy something, but it turned out that the copy machine was broken. We came back, and Patty went with Ilker to look at it.
Various faculty members also came to visit, one of whom I recognized as Dr. Sonny, whom I had for Economics a year ago. We chatted for a bit, and then Patty asked me if I knew Dr. Gullason. I had him for Economics three semesters ago, one semester before I had Dr. Sonny.

GETTER LOVE!!
Two rounds yesterday.
Round 1: Met with Ayumi right from the start, and from there on, met with her a bunch of consecutive times. At night of Day 2, I set up a date with her at China Hao Hao for three turns ahead. Alfonso then announced her event at the Grounds, and I met with her there. (During one of those turns, Chikashi bought the Shrine Date card at the Information Center, and then Sesshuu stole it with an Item Toru card while visiting CD&BOOK, and invited Hana out with it the very same turn.)
Next turn, I battled Sesshuu at Panda Burger and stole his remaining Youshi and Tairyoku energy, forcing him to stay home the next turn. The turn after that, he does stay home to recover one energy bar, but then Hana came to recover the other energy bar. Meanwhile, Chikashi, who also went to China Hao Hao, used a Youshi Down card on me, ruining my date with Ayumi. Alfonso announces an event at my house before the following turn. You'd think Ayumi would've come to visit me and compensate for the hearts I lost, right? Well, no. She didn't.
Daisuke eventually won with Natsuki.
Round 2: Bought the Shrine Date card at Panda Park right off the bat. Fucked around for a bit after that, before being invited to a Cafe Liquid Party and hooking up with Meifa from there. She invited me to China Hao Hao, I went there the next turn while everyone else went to Panda Amusement, and I invited her out to the Shinto Shrine.
Chikashi lagged the whole time. Right before my shrine date took place, I used a Mach card on him before he visited the Game Corner, and the next thing you know, along comes a spider known as Reika Kongouji to scare off his girl and force him to stay home for the following two turns. (I also once managed to fuck up one of Daisuke's dates with a Geri card. He visited the Fashion department at Panda Department Store, and I don't remember whether it was Natsuki or Makoto, but he couldn't say anything to save his life!)
At some point, Chikashi got his hands on the Beach Date card, but was then invited to a party. Seeing as you can't use item cards when you crash a party, that bought me one turn to visit the Information Center and buy... a Battle Win card. Things couldn't be more convenient right there! After you visit a date or party, you get returned home, but of course, I wasn't on a date. The following turn, he went to the Karaoke Corner of Panda Amuse, which is right near his house, and I tackled him right then and there. Now all that's left is to invite Meifa out to the beach, confess my love to her, and mission accomplished!
(You know what I'd compare this to? Suppose you were playing Snowboard Kids, you're lagging behind, and you desperately need some pie pans. Well you run into an item booth, and get an invisiboard, which you use right before someone else throws the pans. Well, at least you managed to catch up. In this situation, I would've rather bought an Item Toru card, if one was even available, but that Battle Win card got the job done just as easily.)
So, the next turn, I go to Cafe Liquid and ask Kaoru for Meifa's whereabouts. I visit Meifa at the Game Corner the turn after that, and bingo!
With my visit to the beach a success, Meifa then asks me to visit her at the library. Meanwhile, someone used a Slow card on Daisuke the same turn, making him less of a threat while I wait for her. So, while I'm getting ready to confess my love to her, she then asks me several questions and confesses her's to me!
This... is... epic! Not only did I manage to invite her out to both the beach and the Shinto shrine, but I managed to wrap her arc up on a Love Love ending! Meanwhile, the Angry Video Game Nerd did state the other day that a new Nerd video will be hosted very soon. If that video were hosted this morning, I'd substitute a link to a VG song on YouTube for a link to said video. But anyway, today's focus will be any Topics I might've unlocked with my win, before I play another round (if I even will play one).
