dmxratedYesterday, Dr. Swanby found me in the hallway, and told me about two students who could help me get started with learning Japanese for when I take that class at Stonybrook. One of them was this guy named Tim, who had spent a year as an exchange student in Japan a year ago, and quite by coincidence, he spotted us. Dr. Swanby left, and Tim told me that he knew nothing about the language when he first went there. He also offered to bring me some materials to get started with, and then told me that he knew the other person Dr. Swanby was talking about, who was Yu Wan Wong, the head of the foreign student department.
