dmxratedThe other night, Marie called us at like 3 A.M., and sounded very distraught. For the next few days, she and Mom continued to talk across the phone about some stuff involving her job. I finally asked last night, and according to Mom, if I understand correctly, someone was drunk or out of control at Marie's dorm, and she had to chaperon him at the hospital. Also, her boss wants her to cover for some other employee who quit, but Mom keeps telling her that that isn't her problem, and even suggested that she quit. Don't know the whole story, but they have been talking about it for a few days now.
I finally got my research paper for Africa finished.
Yesterday, while I was playing Dark Cloud 2 after school, Mom called me, and my legs were numb from sitting on them. I fell down in front of the bathroom on my way to picking up the phone, and sprained my left foot. After the answering machine picked up, Mom called a second time, and I got it. She wanted me to turn the oven on and go upstairs to retrieve a turkey.
When she got home, she noticed me limping, and asked me what was wrong. I told her, and she told me for the nth time not to sit on my legs. She even asked if she should get me a bean bag cushion for Christmas, so I don't continue to cut off my circulation. I also managed to hop through the house on my right foot, so as to not put any weight on the left one, and she told me not to move so fast through the house.
Last night, Dad was watching Modern Marvels, and that particular episode focused on the Yellowstone supervolcano. Judging from its geological cycle, it's already overdue to erupt. I got worried about it for the nth time, and he and Mom started teasing me that it's gonna happen any day now. After we ate dinner, I typed "Yellowstone due to erupt" into Google, and the first thing I came across warned people within 100 miles of Yellowstone to evacuate due to signs of an impending eruption. However, that dates back to early in January, so many months ago, and we're all still alive and well. Other sources say that there is no telling when or if it will happen, but if I had seen that page when it was new, I think I would've killed myself.

So far, my favorite girls to see or think about as giantesses have been:
-Ellen (in Parasitic Trio)
-Milfeulle (Galaxy Angel Z)
-Kokoro (Armored Troopers J-Phoenix PF Lips Team)
-Fumitsuki (from the eyecatch for Happy Lesson)
-Sakura (Card Captor Sakura)
-Hikari (Makeruna! Makendou Z)
-and of course, Silk and Vivienne, from Ultimate Girls.
For fanfiction that me and Jake discussed:
-I suggested that Kahimi have become a giantess in one of his Mon Colle Knights lemons. It would then be up to Mondo to help her (or get help for her) to become small again, before they fornicate.
-Jake also wanted me to think of something involving Max (from Pokemon) and Ayaka (the only Negima character he likes). Once again, the latter would be a giantess. Jake also suggested that Max be babyfied during the fic, since I'm fond of the idea of girls having to care for their babyfied boyfriend.
-For his version of the Yoshi's Island fic, I suggested that wherever there was canonically a transformation bubble, there could be something that either enlarges or shrinks Mai temporarily. (He did not like this idea, so I promised to fill him in if something else came up.)
-And finally, even though the idea of having anyone in Monster Collection Chronicles being able to grow at will probably isn't gonna happen, the idea of having Rockna or any of my female OCs do so would stimulate me. Well, no. This isn't Ultimate Girls, and I'm already breaking the mold by enabling Mondo, Rockna, and ten* OCs to fight on their own (at their normal size) like in a regular RPG. Even though a lot of monsters in the Monster Collection franchise are ginormous, this is exactly why they summon other monsters to fight them. (Or, some of them could alternately fight one as a team while staying small.)
*Chelle was sick of talking about it at the time, but after his shortly-deleted rant on his own blog, I finally decided to scrap half of them for manageability. Mainly, because he gave me a set that at least still goes beyond the default six elements, four of which are formed by two of the four cardinal elements each. Thanks, Y.

Each time I type "Anime Giantess" into YouTube's search bar, a whole bunch of results come up, but most of them don't look that interesting. After thinking about it, I think what I look for (mostly) is cuteness. Familiarity is probably irrelevant; I've heard of Jungle de Ikou (years before I found out about Ultimate Girls), and that one still doesn't particularly interest me. I also came across one giantess scene from some Negima spinoff, and it didn't quite hold my interest. On the other hand, I had never heard of Armored Troopers until just recently.
On the other hand, there are two gts moments in the Lucky Star franchise: One in the anime, and one in the PSP game trailer (0:58). Somehow, neither of these interested me... maybe because they're still-shots that you only get to see for a split-second.
The Giantess RPG doesn't interest me that much either. The girls in that game are rather plain-looking, and in fact, you're tiny part of the time. To see an actual game where you, your party, and everything you fight is colossal? I'd love to see that! I read on TV Tropes and Idioms' "Attack of the 50-Foot Whatever" page that in Shadow of the Colossus, every single enemy is a 50-foot something (although you're a normal-sized person on a horse). If it worked there, then whose to say it wouldn't work elsewhere?
