dmxratedJake told me he is feeling depressed, and wishes not to share any reasons for being so. He said that he's not gonna be feeling better tomorrow, so that basically means I'm probably not gonna be able to ask him for ideas for anything. I'll still sign onto MSN, though, in case he would like to contact me for anything.
Right now, I was gonna ask for any ideas he might have had for a giant-sized RPG. He has none at the moment, and Martin says that giant girls are not his cup of tea. I hosted a thread about it on the GTS Depot forum, but no one has come up with anything. Not sure if Chelle would be any more interested in helping me start planning the story; he is welcome to, though I might or might not decide to include some level of regular fanservice. (By the way, this fic would probably start its own story altogether with its own cast of characters, rather than be a sequel or AU to any existing story in particular.)
Another thing that probably isn't gonna go anywhere right now is a Mon Colle Knights RP (not necessarily a sexual one), taking place between the first and second fics in Monster Collection Chronicles. Once again, Martin is out, because he's not that familiar with MCK. Chelle is likely out, unless she's willing to do it through PMs (if at all), because he doesn't even use Instant Messaging programs.
But anyway, the plot is pretty simple: Mondo and Rockna decide to go on a date somewhere unpopulated, as giant and giantess. For them to grow huge like this was Rockna's idea, because it would give them a good view of their surroundings without requiring them to be airborne. For a setting, me and Jake decided upon a plateau near a beach. And, I also came up with a few gimmicks, such as Mondo picking up a rock and carving Mon World's emblem and a message that would translate from Japanese into "Mondo and Rockna were here" into the earth.
Well, at least I've still got MCC itself to apply this whole gimmick to, once I get the entire first fic planned out first.

Received collection disk 1 of A Little Snow Fairy Sugar yesterday. Decided to pick it up after sharing that screenshot of Saga with Chelle. I actually had it at the top of my Netflix queue, but it came last because the one closest to us didn't have it, and had to request it from a different base.

Yesterday was Brian's birthday. It slipped my mind until Mom reminded me last night. She said that we'd celebrate by going to a steakhouse the next day. I asked Brian if he planned on bringing Amy along, but he said that she's a vegan.
Amy came over briefly last night to give Brian some birthday presents. He got some clothes and an expansion pak for Starcraft. Mom also gave me and him some kind of chocolate, which I opened.

So far, I still don't have a good TV set, though I might be able to play my game in the living room while Mom and Dad are at work. Mom told me that she said we would go to Best Buy to look at what kinds of TVs they have and how much each one costs, not necessarily buying one for $200.

Date: 2019-07-13 08:37 pm (UTC)For helping plan an RPG story, I'd need more information. I've RP-ed years ago, but these were plot driven (or if they were only loose settings, I would introduce a plot). If "giant girls" is all you've got and not even a setting, I wouldn't know what to contribute.
Chelle is likely out, unless she's willing to do it through PMs (if at all), because he doesn't even use Instant Messaging programs.
I have one, if I remember to sign in using IE, but yeah, I don't like using them much.
The story you wrote down there sounds cute, if an RP does not happen I would suggest writing it into a one-shot fanfiction (said it before, but you need to begin practicing writing at some point anyway).

-Can be serious, humorous, or a mix of both.
-There is no "chosen ones" gimmick. Characters join (or leave) the party at will. Exactly who joins and when depends on where the story leads.
-Only those in the party can grow. Hence, the magical artifact carried by one of the lead characters. The party will also shrink back down when the need arises, such as entering a town, dungeon, forest, or anywhere else where there's no room for giants.
-Character diversity. (Yes, anyone can join the party, regardless of gender or age.)
If you'd really like my decision for a setting, though it could be a mostly medieval world, which most of Mon World seems to be in Mon Colle Knights. It does help that you have lots of knowledge about the Rokumon franchise, so with most of the world resembling the Middle Ages, most of the franchise's monsters would be quite applicable to such a setting.

About IM'ing and the Mondo/Rokuna RP, I have AIM and MSN, the latter which I use a lot more. I'm not sure what program you have or if you're even willing to use it to RP through, but if you would specify that, I might decide to download the program in question.
Thanks for the comment about the RP. I have in mind what the Knights are gonna be doing. What I'm still missing is what they'd be talking about:
-While they're walking towards the beach. (For this me and Jake came up with Rokuna thanking Mondo for going on this date with her, and then Mondo bringing up how exciting it used to be to go to Mon World.)
-When they're walking down the beach itself, before taking a dip.
-When they're back on the plateau, sitting around a campfire while eating dinner.
Some stuff they'd do when they go for a swim would also help. I do plan on having them have a playful splashfight, but I would appreciate it if you could come up with some other stuff as well.

Date: 2019-07-13 08:38 pm (UTC)I have MSN, but if we'd RP at all I'd just prefer PMs (this way I can think about what I say). However, isn't it kinda boring if you plan out even the details like conversation in advance? And another thing : eating dinner. How would they get enough food in giant size, or is the food enlarged as well? In fact, where would they get the magic to change size at all?
As for what they do when swimming, if they're giants they could just go visit whales or something. Just take the plane and fly to some area in the world where there are whales. Since they love animals so much and probably miss the monsters, they'd likely enjoy playing with them.
Finally, what is your RP writing style?

Date: 2019-07-13 08:38 pm (UTC)-At least six characters will join the party throughout the fic. However, to avoid continually piling more up, we can let the maximum number be twelve.
-Prologue: It might be a blessed talisman of a forgotten deity which is empowered by a spell. The protagonist learns the spell through a scroll that belonged to one of this deity's lost temples. (Jake's idea.)
Some ideas of stuff to make happen that would require the party to have grown (mostly my ideas):
-The party comes across certain normal-sized characters while being big themselves.
-Someone still could remain big while exploring a town or city, for whatever reason. Could also remain big, so as to talk to someone inside a castle or temple (through a window on one of the higher floors).
-Almost landing on someone while whoever stumbled is big.
-Reaching into the sky as a giant, to bring something down to the ground.
-The party's only way to cross a body of water (such as an ocean) would be when they're big.
-Marking territory (the way Mondo would when he writes some stuff onto the ground with a rock).
And then, Jake suggested that for the sake of creating difficult parts along the way, the party cannot shrink back down once they are big, until they reach certain points on the map. One such result of this would be that they would be unable to enter dungeons or caves at all, explore forests without crushing trees, or enter villages without causing a commotion. In response, I suggested that they might only be able to shrink back down once they find some kind of holy symbol created somewhere, that can only be recognized from an aerial view. Not sure whether or not this would force them to travel the land at normal size (at risk of being eaten or crushed), or they could retrieve something from there to let them shrink down whenever they're ready, but if you have any suggestions, I'll be glad to hear them.

Now, about the Mondo/Rockna RP:
When they become giant, anything that they wear, hold, or carry gets enlarged with them as well. As for how they'd grow, this was one of the abilities that was unlocked during the first fic in Monster Collection Chronicles, which I described on the 21st of this past December (behind one of the lj-cuts).
For a possible FF.net version, I might change a few things around, so as to avoid confusing readers. For example, instead of using their own powers, they might drink some water that Rockna obtained from a second visit to the farming village.)
Playing with whales? Sure, I could have them do that.
My RP writing style? Novel format (as opposed to script format), if that's what you mean.
And, sure. I'll start off by PM'ing you what Jake and I got as a start. However, considering how long it's probably gonna take either of us to come up with stuff or to respond, I suppose we should just create blocks of conversation or other stuff, rather than deciding whether to play as Mondo or Rokuna. Both of us could be both characters.

I did mention this in my previous post, but according to Jake, it would be a talisman of a forgotten diety, blessed by a magic spell. The hero would learn this spell through a scroll from one of the diety's lost temples.
Also, just to let you know, I might have to delete these posts if Jake objects to me sharing stuff with you that he and I discussed with each other. Forgot to ask him first, which is the second time I've made this mistake.
