In case anyone's wondering why this blog looks different, it's because I wanted some format that would display my userpics right away, instead of having to click lj-cuts or comments or read Chelle's Friends list.

Actually, I've been meaning to ask Chelle how she manages to display her pics right on her blog. I just got cued yesterday when she asked me why I visit her blog directly so often. I explained to her, and then she told about the Select Journal Style feature on this site, which I had no luck with. I tried it again, gave up, asked about it on Yahoo Answers (no one answered), came back later, and then noticed an offer to upgrade my account (for free).

(Dukeburger, I also noticed that your blog doesn't display your individual userpics even though you have more than one of them. Maybe you could try upgrading it too, since you didn't upload those extra pics for nothing.)

Beat Noland just last night. No surprise that he was the first Frontier Brain I defeated, because the Factory is somewhat easier than everywhere else since you get to use different Pokemon (all of which are already level 50).

But anyway, I started the fight off with a Scyther, and he started with an Azumarill. I used Silver Wind on it several times, before it knocked Scyther out. I then put Chimecho up against it, and it beat Azumarill, a Volbeat, and a Kabutops, all with Hypnosis, Psychic, and Dream Eater. That left a Pidgeot unused all fight long. 14 Battle Points for my victory!

Hmm, I wasn't aware of that. I'll take a look. The reason my journal is all ghetto is because at the time, there was no way of upgrading without losing the day on my entries. I can't remember when anything happened by just the date, so that irritated me. I did always see your different user pics from my friends page though. Unless you mean that when you go to my livejournal itself, then no, you can't see the pics, which is annoying, but I have yet to find a way around that with keeping the day of the week. That and I just can't be bothered with a snazzy layout really, though it would be nice to have the user pics show up.

Congrats on Nolan! Was this for the gold print? Either way, still hard to pull off. To me the Factory is still horrible torture. I think you may be finding it "somewhat easier" because both the Pokemon you are using and the opponents' Pokemon in the Factory are EV trained. As I mentioned before, you are really going to struggle in the other facilities unless you EV train your pokes.
