dmxratedStarted a new game yesterday morning with Pokemon SoulSilver, and chose Totodile as my starter this time. Even though I had so many hours to wait before I could capture a Hoothoot after 8:00, I never used the PokeWalker because it was raining (and still is, even now) and I didn't have any Pokemon stored in a PC box. However, I was kept pretty busy the whole day.
Well, yesterday was Mom's last day off. We had to go to Stop 'N' Shop to drop off a prescription for some acne stuff, and then went to Bass to try on some new pairs of sneakers. (The leather slip-on shoes I've had have pretty much passed their prime.) Tried on different pairs of shoes, and then went foodshopping with Mom.
(Usually, I don't really pay attention to any of the magazines near the cash registers, but as we were leaving Stop 'N' Shop, I noticed something on a Cosmopolitan cover that read "50 things to do while butt-naked." I started to have a look at that, but Mom told me that I can read it next time we go to the library.)
Anyway, back at home, Mom showed me how to make pulled pork, something which takes hours to cook. The first part of the process was finished before we went out shopping, and we did that because it needed about six hours to be prepared before getting finished.

Last night, after Dad came home, he came across an episode of Thomas the Tank Engine, and called me over. Mom asked him if he was teasing me, but I simply figured I might as well join him, since that was something I used to be obsessed with when I was little.

This morning, I made my way back to Violet City, but of course, I'm gonna wait until nightfall before entering Sprout Tower, since Gastly only comes out after dark. Not likely going to bother with the PokeWalker, though. I do have two Pokemon in a PC box, but they're both low-level, it's still raining outside, and I got other stuff I should be doing as long as I'm giving the game a rest.
Also found out that Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver are also compatible with Pokemon Battle Revolution. Of course, I can't really afford a Wii right now, because I've got barely over $200 in the bank as it is, especially after already having spent a considerable amount of money on other stuff. PBR is gonna wait until I've completed both SoulSilver and Diamond.
