Apr. 4th, 2010 07:15 amYesterday, I found out from Bulbapedia about a site called the Pokemon Fan Event Center, through which someone hosts fan-made event Pokemon that can be obtained through the Global Trade Station.

Actually, this has been going on for a short while, but the only thing I missed out on was a Porygon-Z. Right now, a Jigglypuff is being hosted until the 14th. Upon finding the site and reading the instructions, I successfully downloaded said Jigglypuff onto Diamond, but then had trouble downloading it to Pearl or Platinum. I asked around what the problem could be, but then the owner of the site told me that a bug had hit their server. (I did manage to get Puffy onto the other two games after being informed that everything should be up and running again.)
Anyway, since I haven't gotten up to Goldenrod City in HeartGold or SoulSilver, the plan is this:
-Anything I download to Diamond will go to SoulSilver up until I reach Goldenrod in that game. After that point, I'm gonna stop downloading Pokemon to Diamond altogether until I start a new game on that one.
-Anything I receive in Pearl will eventually be traded onto HeartGold until I reach Goldenrod in that game. Anything that goes onto Pearl after that is its own to keep.
-Anything I download onto Platinum is its own to keep.

Yesterday, Mom and I took the van down to someone's house who was getting rid of some tree trunk sections. She had me help her roll seven of them up a plank into the back of the van. Needless to say, it was pretty hard, and we were only able to fit seven pieces in. However, it later occurred to me that maybe things would've been easier if she or Dad brought the chainsaw over there and cut everything up into smaller pieces. (Of course, I've never used one of those before, but Dad has. Any reason why that option wasn't considered?)
